EVEREST BASE CAMP/GOIKO RI

A CHALLENGE TO EVEREST BASE CAMP THAT WILL TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE.

16 OCTOBER / 2 NOVEMBER

6 - 12 PEOPLE

A NEW WAY OF TRAVELING THAT IS HERE TO STAY

I´M NOT A TRADICIONAL GUIDE

Long before you come on a trip you and I will have already met.

I WANT TO KNOW WHO ARE YOU.

You can never book a trip without talking to me first.

ONLINE WORKOUT AND MINDSET

We will start this challenge months in advance and prepare ourselves physically and mentally.

BRUTAL CONNECTION AND NEW FRIENDS

We travel with people you don’t know who will become true friends.

THIS IS NOT A CONVENTIONAL HIKING TRIP

It is difficult to explain the emotion that organizing this experience evokes. Like all things in life there is balance.. We all have good and bad habits or routines, similarly, there are travel experiences that will be forever remembered as perfect and other that have been a complete misfire. The experiences that we remember as perfect have come together completely naturally in an explosion of great people, breathtaking nature and unforgettable activity. Trail if a traveller has now perfected that ATOMIC Combination.

I welcome you to the trip that will mark a before and after in your life as a whole and in the way you travel. What better destination is there to delve into, other than the most spectacular and revered mountain range on this earth. The Himalayas! Our experience will take us to the base camp of the world’s highest peak and on a circular tour of the incredible Gokyo Lakes.

Let’s get down to earth – Surprisingly, the most important thing about our trips is not the destination. Although this may not be a view shared by all, We strongly believe that the ignition for the explosion we create is the power of the group. My task is the select 11 of the most incredible humans who can come together and make this trip a success. By the end of the trip you will understand exactly what I’m talking about – ‘The beginning of the trip comes with the beginning of a friendship’ – Trail of a Traveler.

The most beautiful thing about this travel project is bringing together a group of strangers who, through shared travel experience, learn from one-another and the world around them to create incredible friendships.

The time is now!

If you’re ready for the challenge of Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lake – YOU’RE INVITED!

TRAVEL INFORMATION

1. HIKING EVEREST BASE CAMP AND GOIKO RI

This trip will encompass unforgettable terrain as we ascend peaks, trek through glacier fields and cross a gnarly 5420m mountain pass. We will start our trip by flying to Lukla and enter the khumbu Valley, where we will find our guide and enjoy meeting some charming locals. To ensure our safety and have comfort in having expert local knowledge, our guide (often referred to as a Sherpa) will accompany us on our trek. The Sherpas are Himalayan people from the borders of Nepal and Tibet and are renowned for their mountaineering expertise.

Nestled on a steep hillside with multicolored houses built in an amphitheater layout, Nanche Bazar is going to take our breath away. To further submerge ourselves in the beautiful culture of the region we will visit the Khumbu village of Tengboche, Where we will have the opportunity to participate in Buddhist ceremony.

Our Trek will take us via the emerald-green Gokyo Lake, Gokyi Ri peak and Chola Pass. An early ascent of Kala Pattar will be sure to get our blood flowing in build-up to our ascent up the Khumbu Glacier where our goal of Mount Everest base camp awaits us at 5,364m elevation.
